The first mention of the farm at Platten dates back to the year 1704<\/b>when it was called Kuen. The farm, which once belonged to the Frauenchiemsee monastery, came into existence through a marriage and subsequent child. 1781<\/b> the name Klotz for the first time. In the year <\/span>1791<\/b><\/span> the house was demolished due to the danger of mudslides and falling rocks and rebuilt at its current location. At that time, the Klotz family farm was still a semi-detached house and grew in small steps, generation after generation. Due to the practice of real division at that time, the farm was repeatedly divided into three or four parts. However, it was always possible to reunite the parts. <\/span><\/p>

1967<\/b> Klotz Robert took over the farm with his 12 siblings and his mother after the sudden death of his father. In a time of mechanisation and land consolidation in the municipality of L\u00e4ngenfeld, he and his wife Judith continued to expand and convert the farm. To this day, both are a helping hand and an integral part of the Platthof.<\/span><\/p>

In the course of another farm conversion, the farm was 2006<\/b> to the second eldest son Ferdinand, who has handed it over to this day with his parents, his wife Lucia and his four children.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At <\/b>the Braunvieh breeding farm live 25 milking cows and 35 young cattle<\/b> in a comfortable free stall. The animals go out to pasture from spring to autumn and in the summer months they enjoy the summer freshness on the alpine pasture. <\/span><\/p>

The milk yield of the animals is approx. 8800 kg<\/b> with 4.3% fat and 3.8% protein. This is made possible by automatic and regular feeding.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At the Klotz farm, the use of different energies began very early on. As early as the beginning of the 1980s, the warm air in the stable building was used to heat the house through a heat recovery system. In 2009, this was renewed and expanded with a solar system.
In 2011 we also started with a photovoltaic system with 5 kWp. This was expanded to 37 kWp in 2015 and to 90 kWp in 2021. Today, we can produce more energy than we need ourselves and sell the surplus to the regional electricity provider.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

das Haus geheizt. 2009 wurde diese erneuert und mit einer Solaranlage erweitert.
